Mini App interface
The Mini App opens inside Telegram when you tap Open Desktop. It is a full-screen viewer with two tabs:
- Screen (left) — the live stream of your Mac, where you watch and control it
- Menu (open by default) — session controls and status
Screen tab
The centre shows the live JPEG stream from your Mac. The image fills the available space and scales with the aspect ratio of the remote display.
Zoom — pinch to zoom up to 6×. Drag to pan when zoomed in.
Tap to click — a single tap sends a left click at that position on the remote screen. The click lands at the exact pixel you tapped, scaled to the full resolution of the remote display.
Long-press — sends a right click.
Double-tap and drag — double-tap and, without releasing, drag your finger: this holds the left button down and drags (drag-and-drop) — move windows, select text, or drag items.
Scroll — swipe to scroll (only at 1× zoom). The Mini App accumulates finger movement and fires a fixed-size scroll step every 15 px of drag — so faster swipes produce more steps per second, but each step is the same size. When zoomed in, the same gesture pans the view instead.
Keyboard — the keyboard icon opens the phone keyboard. Whatever you type is sent to the Mac via clipboard paste, so any language and any Unicode character works. Special keys (Enter, Backspace, Tab, Escape, arrows) are sent as individual key events. Modifier keys (Shift, Ctrl, Alt, ⌘) appear as toggleable buttons above the keyboard.
Menu tab
Open by default. This is where the session controls and status live.
Source: screen ↔ camera — switches the visual source between Screen (your desktop) and Camera (the Mac's webcam). Switching is instant; the relay routes the new source within one frame interval.
Privacy
Camera frames are only visible to you (the session owner). View-only share guests always see the screen — they cannot see the camera, and there is no way to grant them that access.
Microphone / voice — hold the microphone button to record a voice message. Release to send it. The audio is sent to the daemon, transcribed locally with Whisper, and then processed as a text command (same as typing a message to the bot).
Connection indicator — a coloured dot shows the connection state:

The dot turns yellow and the Mini App reconnects automatically if the WebSocket drops. You do not need to close and reopen it.
Viewer count — shows how many people are currently watching your screen (including yourself). If you see an unexpected number, check the Sharing section to review who has access.
